I have been helping individuals modify their accents for years.  There are many reasons someone might want to modify their accent - to improve intelligibility, for social reasons, to secure a job where speaking clearly is essential. Whatever the reason, I can help you reach your personal goals.  We will work on key American sounds, vocabulary, the prosody (stress and rhythm of speech) to create a new sound with your own beautiful voice!  All lessons are custom-planned to your individual needs.

I specialize in reducing, British, Australian, Russian and other Slavic accents, but whether you are from Eastern Europe, Western Europe, India, the U.K., South America, Africa or even from a heavily accented region of the U.S., I can help you to sound more more comfortable with General American English (or British English) in both social and work situations. As a licensed speech therapist and phonetician, I am uniquely qualified for this work! 

In addition to basic accent modification services I provide:
  • Work with contact/call center staffs to improve English pronunciation skills and intonation
  • Assistance with presentations and speaking engagements - As a public speaker with over 50 national conference speaking engagements, I can help you make your presentation more dynamic to Americans and help you to sound your best. 
  • Role play interview situations and help with interview preparation - Interviews are important and being prepared means your accent is clear and fluid
  • Meeting preparation - I can help you prep for meeting by role playing questions and giving pointers on how your speech in meetings can be most impactful

All sessions are held via Zoom web platform and convenient times are offered wherever you are in the world.  Payment can be made via PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.  Package pricing is available for six sessions or more.  Contact me for more information.
